Releases new products based on latest version of Clavister Firewall and also incorporates Clavister hardware solutions into its F-series of Firewalls.

Chinese company Amaranten (ASIA) and Swedish IT security specialist Clavister have agreed on intensifying cooperation in the development of advanced firewall solutions. The new OEM agreement was disclosed at the opening of InfoSecurity China 2002 in Beijing. Under the new OEM agreement, Amaranten will implement version 8, the latest release of the Clavister Firewall software, into their own firewall product, the F-Series.

- We are very pleased with the results of our first generation products and the response on the Chinese market to these has been fantastic. With the new generation of Clavister technology we can further increase our efforts on the Chinese market, says Philip Huang, vice chairman, Amaranten ASIA.

In September 2002, Clavister Firewall was once again named best in Test by leading Nordic Networking magazine, the Swedish edition of IDG/Network&Communication. Previously during 2002, other European publications have named Clavister Best in Test, and Best new technology and more.
