The new series is designed to meet the fierce requirements from larger enterprises and ISPs who are in need of a product for branch / remote offices that combine rapid deployment and management capabilities with an unbeatable price/performance ratio and TCO.

With the advent of the Clavister Security Gateway 50 series, Clavister maintains its position as a leading European supplier of high-performing security technology. Not only does the new platform bring a new generation of cost-efficient Branch / Remote office security products to the market, but they also set the new standard for flexibility and versatility. The new 50 Series is empowered with the latest Clavister firmware which adds Layer 2 - Transparent mode Firewalling, Server Load Balancing and a refined IPSec engine with increased VPN performance and capabilities.

The Clavister Security Gateway 50 Series is designed specifically to be used at Remote and Branch offices or as CPE units in service provider scenarios. The 50 series consists of four product models; 51, 53, 55 and 57, differentiated by performance and functionality such as High Availability Clustering and VPN tunnels. The 50 series provides a plaintext throughput of up to 200 Megabits per second, an IPSec throughput of up to 40 Megabits per second, 64,000 concurrent connections, 10 x 10/100 Ethernet Interfaces and up to 64 VLAN interfaces.
