Jörgen Strömberg to join Clavister Advisory Board [2007-03-16]Clavister, a Swedish company which develops IP based security solutions, has recruited Jörgen Strömberg as a member of the Clavister Advisory Board, an advisory committee for the company’s Board of Directors and senior management.
In addition to Jörgen Strömberg, the committee consists of Björn Norrbom, Richard Montgomery, Helge Tianen and Olov Schagerlund, each having extensive experience from diverse parts of the industry. The committee is also stands ready at the company’s disposal for specific operational contributions.
Jörgen Strömberg has more than twenty years experience in the IT industry, most recently from the IT security company Check Point Software Technologies in Sweden, as founder and CEO for seven years. Before that, he was CEO for the systems integrator Måldata PCI (today Cygate). Jörgen also has experience from leading positions at Fujitsu, Olivetti and AST Computers.
”I have solid experience in various sectors of the IT industry, from partner activities as well as sales to large end-customers. I therefore expect that I will be able to contribute with important knowledge within management and business development,” said Jörgen Strömberg.
