Clavister AB, a leading provider of IP-based security and Unified Threat Management (UTM) solutions, has received 1.1 million Swedish kronor from Vinnova, a government body that reports to the Industry Ministry. The grant, awarded within the framework of the "Research and Grow" program is designed to support Clavister's research into security solutions for the high traffic volume networks of telecom operators.


"The fact that Vinnova is investing in us shows that the government places great importance on the research we are undertaking" says Peter Johansson, Clavister's CEO.

Within the framework of Vinnova's Research and Grow program, a company can seek research project financing. The company can itself jointly finance a Research and Grow project with at least a similar amount of finance. In this financing round, 39 companies shared 50.5 million kronor of funding.
