Developing the next-generation security system for BAE Systems Hägglunds new Tracked and Wheeled Modular Ar-moured Tactical System

Clavister AB, a leading provider of IP-based security and Unified Threat Management (UTM) solutions, today announced the joint development of the next-generation security system for BAE Systems Hägglunds new Tracked and Wheeled Modular Armoured Tactical System with OEM partner Saab Aerotech, the premium provider of integrated solutions for the defense, civil security and commercial aviation markets.

Saab Aerotech recently won the purchase bid for a new rugged security system for BAE Systems Hägglunds next-generation multi-vehicle solution, the Tracked and Wheeled Modular Armoured Tactical System, in close collaboration with Clavister. The purchase bid calls for an initial limited set of products to be delivered in Q1, 2008 to BAE Systems Hägglunds for evaluation and testing.

Under the terms of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Clavister will supply Saab Aerotech with the Clavister CorePlus™ network security operating system to be incorporated into Saab Aerotech Battle Management Equipment solutions for military vehicles, which will be marketed and distributed as an integral part of Saab Aerotech's product and services portfolio worldwide.
