Telecom veteran takes the helm at Clavister [2008-08-27]Network security specialist, Clavister has appointed Johnny Svedberg as Chairman of the Board at its Annual Shareholders' Meeting this week. Svedberg's appointment is in response to the company's recent international expansion and increasing sales focus on operators and larger companies.
An experienced IT management professional, Svedberg has spent the last eighteen years at Europe's leading alternative telecom operator, Tele2, latterly as COO and Market Area Director for Baltic and Russia. Svedberg was also a member of the company's Executive Board.
"Larger enterprise and telecom operators are important customers for Clavister, and I will be using my experience to provide valuable insight to supply the best security solutions to these businesses," said Svedberg.
"Johnny will bring a wealth of experience to the team at Clavister at a time when the company is in a phase of expansion," said Peter Johansson, CEO and principal owner of Clavister. "Johnny's ability to improve and grow businesses will ensure our success in the future."
