This page describes the process that is used for recruiting new members to Clavister Sweden. The objective of this process is to clarify what requirements we have on applicants as well as for Clavister to evaluate the candidates in the most objective way. Clavister being a security company with clients in the government sector, telecommunications and defence industry, we are forced to adopt a somewhat more formal approach for recruiting new members to our team.
Recruitment Process

Programming Test, only for Product Developers:
As you already know, Clavister develops security products with high demands on security, functionality, resilience and performance. A major part of this quality is maintained due to the work performed by our product developers. For this reason, Clavister uses a programming test that we prefer all applicants to take. This test is used by us to evaluate development skills and code quality.
The test consists of a programming task that is performed at home. Thus, it requires that you have access to the proper development tools (such as C compiler for core developer positions or .NET development tools for a .Net developer position). If you have the proper experience, the task will only take a few hours to complete. The time limit is however four days from the moment you receive the test instructions.
A reference group consisting of software architects, developers and project managers will evaluate the programming test result. About 1-2 weeks after the result has been handed in, the result and score will be sent back to you. If you have reached a score of 4 and higher, we will also propose a date and time for an interview.

Interview:
Should an interview take place, it will be at Clavister's head quarters in Örnsköldsvik.

Further evaluation:
Before an employment is possible, we also require the applicant to conduct a health examination including drug test, which is performed in cooperation with "Örnsköldsviks Företagshälsovård".

Probationary Employment:
If it turns out that you are the most suitable candidate for the position, you should also be informed that we always practice 6 months of probationary.
