TORSEC, the Research Group on Information Security of the Politecnico di Torino uses in its laboratories Clavister Security Gateway as a reference for researchers and students testing all major security technologies
CASPUR (Italian Consortium for Super-computing Applications for University and Research) is a government institution under the Italian Minister of Education. It is established by six Universities from central and southern Italy. CASPUR has collaboration agreements with some of the major research institutions in Italy, like INFN, ENEA, ING, CNR and is maintaining the Nautilus one of the two italian Internet Neutral Access Points. CASPUR officially adopts Clavister as its Firewall/VPN solution within its organization.
